• The first phase of a multi-phase plan to develop the property at 810 East Avenue. 

• A church facility that includes kids ministry, nursery and youth spaces, church offices, cafe & fellowship area, and a 180 seat auditorium.

• Beautiful outdoor space featuring a 60' x 14' covered back porch, basketball and gaga ball courts, and firepit gathering area.

 

THE WHY

​The Building Home Campaign will allow Gospel Light Baptist Church to:

    

• give the local church a permanent home.

• provide a place for people to hear truth in a confused world.

• be the "Light" to over 30,000 unchurched people in Preble County.

• give help and hope to the community.

• establish a hub to carry out the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20.

THE COST

 

$1,200,000.00 for a 6,280 sq. ft facility and the development of our 9-acre property at 810 East Avenue Eaton, Ohio 45320.

     

Investment already made = $110,000.00

THE PROGRESS 

2016

Gospel Light started as a church plant and has since strived to reach the Preble County Community with the Gospel.

   

2018

While meeting in a leased location, God provided for Gospel Light to purchase 9-acres of land on East Avenue in Eaton.

   

2019

God provided yet again for the land to be paid off in full. 

   

2021

The church finalized annexing the property into the City of Eaton.

   

2022

Enough money was raised to move forward with the property survey, topographical mapping, major site plan, architectural plans, and mechanical drawings.

   

2023

Gospel Light received approval for zoning and the major site plan from the City of Eaton and is now ready to build!
