Birthright Baby Shower

 EVENT UPDATE - Due to Covid-19 concerns we will NOT be holding our Birthright Baby Shower as originally planned. However, we WILL still be accepting gifts* at Gospel Light Baptist Church on May 12th to donate to Birthright of Eaton. The Church office will be open from 9am - 7pm on Tuesday May 12th  to accept gifts.

*Larger sized diapers and baby wipes are a couple items that would be very helpful at this time.

Ladies of all ages are invited to join us at Gospel Light Baptist Church on Tuesday May 12th at 6:30pm as we host a Baby Shower for Birthright of Eaton. Come learn about the Birthright Organization and enjoy a fun filled night with fellowship, food, games, prizes and more! (All baby gifts will be donated to Birthright of Eaton, no need to wrap items.) 

Ideas for items to bring: 

- Diapers (All Sizes) 

- Baby Wipes 

- Baby Clothing (Newborn - 2T) 

- Hooded Towels & Wash Cloths 

- Baby Wash - Baby Blankets

Birthright of Eaton believes it is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every child to be born. They provide the following services to women and children: 

- A listening ear 

- Pregnancy testing (free) 

- Prenatal counseling 

- Diapers, formula, baby food, baby clothing, maternity clothing,  layettes for newborns, and more 

- Lactation consultant for breastfeeding moms (by appointment) 

- Breast Friends – breastfeeding support group 

- Referrals for medical, financial, housing, social, and counseling assistance
